 ADMISSION
 
ADMISSION AND ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS (New Students)
  1. Get your applications for the Admission from the Secretary, at Room 312 (3rdb Floor, Adm-Bldg.)

     
  2. Submit the following documents together with the accomplished application form:
    • Two (2) Recommendation Letters
    • Valid Official Undergraduate Transcript of Records (TOR) for MAEd program applicants and Master's Transcript of Records for Doctorate Program applicants.

    • Graduate Student Personal Data Sheet
    • An Honorable Dismissal from the school last attended
    • Two (2) pcs. recent passport size picture
    • Permit to study (Public School Teachers Only)
    • One (1) photocopy of Marriage Contract
      (The afforcited documents must be filed with the Graduate Office upon enrollment)

     

  3. Report on the schedule interviews with the Dean . If qualified, the Dean issues a notice of acceptance.

     

  4. You must be a holder of a Bachelor's degree in Education (BEED, BSEd or their equivalent from a accredited school, with a GPA of B, 2.00.85 percent or higher. If GPA is lower, you may be placed in the Non-Degree program which allows you to finish all the academic courses. However, if you will obtain very satisfactory performance in all the said courses, you may be allowed to take the Comprehensive Exam and Thesis Writing. (Non-Education degree holders with at least 18 units in Professional Education may, upon approval of the Dean, be admitted.

     

  5. If you are an applicant for the Ed.D. program, you must be a holder of Master of Arts in Education/Teaching degree (at least 36 units with thesis) from an accredited school, with the GPA of 1.75. You must have five (5) or more years of successful teaching, administrative, and /or supervisory experience.

     

  6. An applicant to the Master's Degree program, who intends to major a particular discipline not corresponding to his/her Bachelor's degree should take at least 18 units of major subjects in the undergraduate program as pre-requisite.

     

  7. Transferred units shall be credited properly after considering requirements and the minimum number of semester hours required. At least twenty-one (21) academic units decides the six (6) units in the Thesis Writing for Master's degree, and at least thirty-two (32) academic units in addition to the twelve (12) units in Desertion Writing for the Doctorate degree, should be earned at the NTC to establish residence.

     

  8. Follow the Enrollment Procedure.


ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE

  1. Obtain and settle the following with the Secretary:
    • Notice of Acceptance (new Students Only)
    • Course Approval Form
    • Student Number (New Student Only)
    • Assignment Card
    • Payment of membership fee


     

  2. Accomplish the Course Approval Form indicating the Room, Time, and the Subjects to be taken.

     
  3. See the Dean for Advising and signature of the Course Approval Form and the Assignment card.

     
  4. Proceed to the Accounting Office for the payment of your fees, to the Medical/Dental Clinic for physical check-up, and to the Internet Room for your ID.

     
  5. Go back to the Graduate Office for your class cards.

REFUND OF FEES

  • 100% - Before the opening of classes
  • 90% - Within the first week of classes
  • 80% - Within the first two (2) days for the summer term.
  • No refund for:
    • Tuition Fee on installment basis
    • Registration and Miscellaneous fees
  • Full payment for the subjects enrolled is charged is no official withdrawn is made after fifteen (15) days from the opening regular classes.
