About Us: 

Elementary Course of The National Teachers College, Manila was granted its Government Recognition No. 73 series of 1946 of the Department of Instruction (now Department of Education) during the time of Commonwealth of the Philippines (now Republic of the Philippines).

The Nursery and Kindergarten Course was granted Government Recognition P-054 s. 2007 on November 5, 2007. From then on, the Elementary Department continue its compliance with all the requirements of the Department of Education.

The Early Elementary education levels include three (3) years of Early Childhood Education namely: Nursery for children aged 3-3 ½ years old, Kindergarten 1 for 4-4 ½ years old and Kindergarten 2 for at least 5 years old and the elementary education composed of Grades 1-6 which is the second stage of compulsory basic education.

The NTC Elementary Department is implementing the K to 12 Enhanced Basic Education Curriculum for Kindergarten II to Grade VI which aims to produce holistically developed learners with 21st century skills.
